Matthias Humborg joined the law firm in 2023 as Of Counsel. Prior to that, he led the IP section of the corporate legal department of a globally operating food/tourism company headquartered in Cologne. Matthias planned, built up and integrated the legal department into the group. In addition to the central management of the group’s worldwide trademark portfolio, he also advised the affiliated companies on competition law matters. He provided legal support for all kinds of marketing activities and image campaigns of the group, was responsible for questions concerning the development of private label articles and advised on licensing and sponsoring issues.
