Laura Delpy joined the Team at Teworte-Vey Simon Schumacher & Partner as a Counsel in January 2025. She is focused on trademark law, unfair competition law as well as copyright law. Laura advises and represents domestic and foreign companies in judicial and extrajudicial disputes as well as in trademark registration and cancellation proceedings before the national and European IP offices.

Laura has many years of professional experience as IP practitioner. Most recently, she worked inhouse as Head of Intellectual Property at internationally operating METRO AG. 

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Laura has published articles on various topics of intellectual property law. In 2020, Laura was awarded the “Women in Law Award” in the field of “Intellectual Property” for Germany by international legal publication “Lawyer Monthly”. In addition, the magazine “Managing Intellectual Property” recognized her as a “Rising Star” in the IP STARS Ranking in 2021 and as a “Notable practitioner” in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
